Part One

Activities within the Red Crescent Society of Iran — Fars Province, Shiraz

A. Provincial relief command

Provincial Operations Commander and senior manager in the field of relief and rescue and specialized teams, responsible for recruiting, training, and organizing volunteer forces in four fields:

  • First aid and triage
  • Road relief and rescue
  • Search and rescue under rubble (earthquake response)
  • Emergency shelter and the establishment of temporary camps

B. Relief, rescue, and other executive positions

  • Certified instructor in all four specialized fields listed above
  • Took part in every relief and rescue operation for natural and man-made disasters at the county and provincial level, prior to leaving Iran in 1392 (2013)
  • Member of the city and provincial executive councils, elected with the highest number of votes among Red Crescent volunteer members
  • Active service as an international relief worker in Fars Province
  • Head of the Skills Group, Fars Province Volunteer Organization
  • Drafted the charter for national Rapid Response Teams of the Volunteer Organization and submitted it to the Red Crescent Society
  • Founded and established dozens of volunteer centers ("Volunteer Houses") at the county and provincial level
  • Delivered more than 9,000 hours of specialized training to all segments of society at the county and provincial level
  • Active member of the Red Crescent Youth Organization
Part Two

Activities abroad, after leaving Iran in 2013

Began political activity abroad in opposition to the Islamic Republic of Iran, entering the field of political and human-rights work. Member of Germany's Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) and of the German Red Cross (DRK), in order to raise his level of knowledge and expertise in relief, rescue, and crisis management — and to apply that knowledge toward the goals of the Iranian Red Lion and Sun Society during Iran's transition and future flourishing:

  • Created virtual networks and maintained contact with compatriots inside Iran to recruit, train, and organize volunteer forces for activities within the country
  • Trained and organized relief teams through virtual platforms to support the rights-seeking and freedom movements of the Iranian people
  • Provided medicine and medical equipment to assist the wounded and injured by establishing safe medical centers, with the help of Iranian Red Lion and Sun Society volunteers inside Iran
  • Financial and humanitarian support for political and human-rights prisoners, and for the families of justice-seekers
  • Assisted the asylum process for political and human-rights activists in Turkey, Greece, and Germany
  • Attended the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Red Cross confederation in Geneva, Switzerland, and raised the Red Lion and Sun flag there for the first time in 42 years — submitting a formal letter requesting the emblem's re-registration internationally
  • Took part in relief efforts for Ukrainian war victims and their transfer to Germany, working at the Ukraine–Hungary border
  • Actively took part in demonstrations abroad — particularly in Brussels, Strasbourg, Sweden, England, and Germany — setting up relief tents and medical teams to assist the injured at these gatherings
  • Gave interviews to Persian-language media abroad and to German magazines to introduce the Society's activities
  • Held two meetings with Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi regarding the Society's activities and received his guidance in support of its goals
  • Formally introduced the Iranian Red Lion and Sun Society to Empress Farah Pahlavi
  • Officially and legally registered the Iranian Red Lion and Sun Society in Germany in accordance with European Union law
  • Attended the "Coalition for Convergence" meeting in Munich, as well as the National Cooperation Congress
  • Drafted and presented the "Setad-e 72" (Headquarters of 72) project to political groups and grassroots activists, as well as to the office of Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi and the "Flourishing Iran" project
  • Cooperated with other parties, groups, and organizations, as well as individuals and institutions active in the cause of freedom and prosperity for our beloved homeland, Iran
  • Carried out the national "Mehr dar Mehregan" initiative, providing school supplies for children in Sistan and Baluchestan
  • Provided clothing and other items at New Year for needy children and families through the national "Mehr dar Baharan" (Kindness in Spring) initiative
  • The national "MAD" initiative, in the form of establishing safe medical centers
